Gwendolyn Scheers is an expressive artist with a multi-
cultural flair whose work is a natural result of her spontaneous artistic expression.
Born to Indonesian parents in Holland in 1960, she was introduced early to the world
of artistic endeavors by her father, who was well established in the graphic arts
industry in Holland. When Gwendolyn moved to America with her family, her interest
expanded and eventually she earned a degree in art from San Diego State University.
The artwork she creates in her studio offers a glimpse into the bold and vibrant
side of humanity in today's global village.
